Parent Life

When a teen becomes a parent their life is forever changed. They are now juggling the demands of parenting in addition to the struggles of finishing school, relationships, home life, planning for the future and so much more. Our passion at Parent Life is to come alongside these young people and help them navigate these changes and be a steady presence in their lives.

Parent Life seeks to connect with expectant and parenting teens and their children through intentional relationships with caring adults and community partners. Our aim is to empower teens to thrive in every aspect of life and to encourage them to further their education, move toward independent living and become life-long followers of Christ.

We accomplish this through bi-weekly meetings where teens learn valuable parenting and life skills, discuss topics relevant to their unique situations and engage with loving and nurturing adults. Plus we have lots of fun too! Transportation, childcare and meals are provided. Parent Life meets every other Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the City Life Center, 40 Chicago Avenue, Columbus, OH 43222.

Volunteer with Teen Parents

Do you want to make a difference in a young person’s life? We would love you talk to you about a how you can do just that. We always have need of more team members to get involved in leading our group meetings, mentoring, childcare, meals but most importantly in sharing the love of Christ with teen parents and their children.
