Our staff and volunteers provide a healthy peer group environment with Christian role models to help students explore issues of faith in a non-threatening way. Meet the YFC Staff
Marc Johnson has worked with students for more than 30 years. He loves meeting people, teaching the Bible, rock climbing, swimming, guitar, motorcycles, audio books, and traveling light with his wife Charis, daughter Corrie, and son Caleb. His goal is to encourage billions to know Christ, think like God, attempt the impossible and be filled with joy. Marc studied journalism at The Ohio State University and received his Masters in Christian Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He worked in local church youth ministry for 16 years before transitioning to Youth for Christ in 2017.
Elaine Reading has been working with youth for over 45 years through various youth programs. She has a husband of 39 years, two adult children, and two grandkids whom she loves spending time with. She enjoys crafting, cooking and gardening (indoors and out). She has remained steadfast with the Lord through many hard circumstances and health issues. She brings her administrative giftings YFC to support God's work of reaching hearts for Him.
